Release of netADIT Version 6.1.0

As of January 24, 2025, netADIT V6.1.0 is available! This version introduces important new features and improvements, offering even more flexibility and stability in network access control (NAC).

Main Features

This version focuses on keep providing a user-friendly, secure, and maintainable solution for network access control (NAC) in the future. Therefore, starting with version 6.1.0, netADIT supports the configuration of EAP-TLS via the graphical user interface (GUI). This new feature allows certificate-based 802.1x authentication to be configured directly via the GUI and considered in access rules. This results in:

• Highest security through the optional use of certificates.

• Easy integration into existing PKI infrastructures.

• Consistently simple configuration of access rules.

But work didn’t stop at improvement of authentication. Security and usability have also been improved in several ways, such as:

• Performance improvements through code optimization, resulting in a system that is up to 26% faster in some parts.

• An extended REST API, offering additional search parameters and functions.

• Updates to the modules and software used, ensuring compliance with security standards for third-party products.

As always, bugs have been fixed and optimizations made to ensure a great user experience going forward.
